Trying to stay fresh and creative for a day’s writing session can be a challenge.
What I do to stop my brain from going into a rigor mortis state is to practice short sessions of Tai Chi throughout the day.
I practice before breakfast, mid morning, lunch time, and during an afternoon break.
After I finish my daily writing session, I rest and then do some more Tai Chi practice.
All sessions, apart from my early morning session, can last from 3 minutes to 10 minutes. My early morning session is usually an hour in duration, which is a great way to kick start the day.
The sessions can either be meditative or energetic depending on what skill I’m practicing.
Apart from a Cherry Ripe chocolate and a cup of tea, my Tai Chi boosters work well for me. 🙂
